What is the Micro Youth Application?
Micro Youth Application is the name of a medical aesthetic service offered at Linemed for skin appearance; it is not a vaccine against infection. The clinical description includes cross-linked hyaluronic acid and vitamin-containing mesotherapy components. The exact products, ingredients, intended use and quantities should be explained during consultation.
What is the aim, and what are the evidence limits?
Needs such as skin hydration appearance, fine lines or volume loss may be assessed. Hyaluronic acid can add volume, so the procedure cannot be described as having no volumising effect. However, research on one ingredient does not demonstrate the same benefit or duration for a particular mixture. General filler references should not be presented as clinical studies of this specific application. [1]
Who and which areas may be suitable?
Suitability cannot be determined by age or a photograph alone. Skin characteristics, previous procedures, health and expectations must be considered together. The eye area, neck and other sites are not automatically appropriate for every product. Site selection must follow the product instructions and clinical assessment.
Sessions and duration
The product, quantity and individual characteristics influence outcomes. The same vial number or repeat interval cannot be recommended to everyone. Without verified data for the particular products and protocol, a fixed “8–12 months” or permanent effect should not be promised. Water intake and skincare must not be presented as making an injection result permanent.
Before and after the procedure
Discuss the proposed products, expected change, alternatives and follow-up plan. Disclose medicines, allergies, previous fillers, active skin conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Do not stop prescribed medicines on your own. Follow the individual aftercare and review instructions given by the treating clinician. [2]
Potential reactions and warning signs
Redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising may occur. Infection, allergy, persistent swelling or nodules are possible. Facial injections involving fillers also carry serious risks, including vascular complications, tissue injury and loss of vision. Seek immediate medical assessment for unusual severe pain, skin blanching or darkening, or visual changes. [1]
Frequently asked questions
Is it the same as a filler?
The aims and treatment plan may differ, but volume effects and injection risks must still be assessed when hyaluronic acid is used.
Is a result guaranteed after one session?
No. The outcome and any need for further treatment are assessed through consultation and follow-up.
Does product registration validate every mixture?
No. Each product, delivery route and intended use must be considered separately. Registration of one component does not establish the effectiveness and safety of an entire mixture.
