Mercan treatment

At Linemed, the treatment called Mercan refers to Artderma’s Cahorè mesotherapy product. It is not a vaccine against infectious disease. Suitability is assessed in relation to skin characteristics and the intended need. The exact formulation, concentration, administration route and session plan are explained using current product instructions. Different mesotherapy formulations should not be assumed to produce identical effects.

Subcision

An invasive procedure intended to release fibrous attachments beneath certain depressed acne scars. It is not suitable for every scar type. A clinician assesses the scar and alternatives and explains risks such as bruising, swelling and bleeding.

Skin care

Skin type, sensitivity, current products and daily habits are considered together. Cleansing, hydration and daily-care advice are adapted to individual needs. Suspected active skin disease requires medical assessment first.

Ask a question ↗

Scalp mesotherapy

A treatment plan is considered only after assessing the cause of hair loss. The proposed formulation, expected benefit, evidence limitations and alternatives are explained during consultation. Identical effects or guaranteed results cannot be assumed for every type of hair loss.

Hair exosomes: information

Exosome use in hair health is being studied. Uncertainties about formulation, effectiveness and long-term safety must be considered. It should not be presented as equivalent to established hair-loss treatments or as providing guaranteed results. Product suitability and alternatives require medical assessment.

PLLA and CaHA for the body

PLLA and CaHA are studied for different goals in body aesthetics. Mild to moderate skin laxity, texture and certain contour concerns may be assessed. Evidence and product indications differ by area; findings in one region do not establish the same outcome everywhere.

Backs of the Hands

Volume loss and thin skin are assessed separately. Certain CaHA products have evidence for dorsal hand volume loss.

Neck and Under-Chin Area

Skin laxity, fat accumulation and muscle anatomy are distinguished. Biostimulators do not dissolve under-chin fat.

Décolleté

Fine wrinkles and skin texture may be addressed. Approval and preparation conditions are product-specific.

Abdomen and Postpartum Changes

May be assessed for loose skin after pregnancy or weight change. It does not correct abdominal muscle separation or substantial excess skin. Timing after pregnancy and breastfeeding requires assessment.

Knees and Upper Arms

Publications address crepey skin around the knees and upper-arm laxity. This is not an intra-articular injection or treatment for joint disease.

Buttocks and Thighs

Studies have examined skin quality, laxity and cellulite appearance. This is distinct from large-volume buttock augmentation; evidence and indication limitations must be discussed.

Much of the body evidence comes from small studies and expert recommendations. Results are assessed over weeks and months; session requirements vary. Bruising, swelling, infection, nodules and rare vascular complications are discussed.
